MASSENA -- A village resident is facing two felonies after being accused of breaking into an apartment and stealing electronics and other items.

Matthew G. Deforge, 24, of 210 Center Street, #5 is charged with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree grand larceny, police said.

Massena court officials said on Feb. 12, he broke into 400 South Main St. Apt. 2C and stole property valued at $1,870.

He allegedly took a 55-inch television, an Xbox 360, a rocker gaming chair and Sony speakers, court officials said.

Deforge was charged at 2:20 p.m. Friday at the village police station. He was arraigned by Massena Justice Patrick Serguson and released, police said.
