MASSENA -- Village police charged an 18-year-old Massena man twice in one day in two unrelated impaired driving incidents.
Jordan P. Deshane, 18, of 7 Bishop Ave. was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, speeding, unlicensed operation, reckless driving and running a stop sign at 1:25 a.m. Friday on Bishop Avenue.
At 3:25 p.m. that day, he was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident, endangering the welfare of a child, operating a motor vehicle while impaired, reckless driving, speed not reasonable and prudent, unlicensed operator, failure to keep right and unlawful possession of marijuana.
In the second incident, he is being treated as a youthful offender.
Deshane was arraigned Friday afternoon in Massena Village Court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, Canton in lieu of $2,500 bail.
