MASSENA -- A Middlebury Avenue resident is jailed without bail after village police charged him with selling cocaine in January.
Allen Blount, 26, of 15 Middlebury Ave. is charged with third-degree criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance, both felonies.
Court documents say he sold an unspecified amount of cocaine to a confidential police informant on Jan. 9 at about 6:40 p.m.
Blount was arraigned in Massena court by Justice Gerald Sharlow and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, Canton without bail because he has two prior felony convictions.
He was granted parole in 2011 after serving three years of a five-year sentence for second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
He began serving a one to three-year sentence in 2004 for fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
