MASSENA -- State police say they charged a 27-year-old Massena man with first-degree rape by forcible compulsion.
Ralph A. VanGuilder was charged at 5:30 p.m. Friday, troopers said.
The charges stem from an incident reported at 11:20 p.m. the previous night that allegedly happened in Norfolk, troopers said.
VanGuilder is being held pending court action, according to troopers.
