POTSDAM -- A Massena man was charged with driving while intoxicated following after crashing his vehicle into a tree Thursday, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Andrew R. Chapin, 22, was charged with DWI after his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree on Sissonville Road.
He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Potsdam court at a later date, officers said.
No injuries were reported.
