LOUISVILLE -- A Massena man was charged with public lewdness Tuesday evening for allegedly masturbating in Whalen Park, state Highway 131, according to state police.
Troopers said they charged Timothy W. Borey, 42, with public lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child at 6:35 p.m.
Troopers responded to the park around 6 p.m. to investigate a report of a man masturbating in public.
Borey reportedly masturbated in front of a 35-year old female and her daughter who is under age 16, officers said.
He was arraigned in the Massena Town Court and remanded to St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
He is to reappear in Louisville Town Court May 6, at 5:30 p.m.
