WADDINGTON -- A Massena man is accused of shooting a pellet gun at a man in Waddington on Saturday.
An investigation at the scene revealed that 49-year-old Orville R. Lowes of Massena shot at the male victim with a pellet gun, troopers said.
During a struggle between Lowes and the victim, a television was also damaged, troopers said.
Troopers say when they arrived on scene and tried to place Lowes in custody, he resisted arrest.
Lowes was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, and misdemeanor counts of second-degree reckless endangerment, fourth-degree criminal mischief and resisting arrest, troopers said.
Lowes was arraigned in Town of Massena Court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond, troopers said.
He is to re-appear in Town of Waddington Court at a later date.
