MASSENA -- A Massena man was jailed Wednesday for allegedly shaking a baby during a domestic dispute, according to Massena police.
John M. Swinyer, 33, 187 Center St., was reportedly charged around 4:30 p.m. with endangering the welfare of a child.
Police said Swinyer was involved in an argument with the mother of the child when he grabbed the baby and began to shake it.
The child was reportedly not injured.
Swinyer was jailed on $1,000 bail or $2,000 bond, police said.
