MASSENA – Fire investigators are still looking for the cause of a blaze that destroyed a Main Street house early Sunday.
Two firefighters suffered minor injuries knocking down the fire, investigators said in a news release.
Massena fire and rescue personnel were called out to 498 Main St. at 6:17 a.m., and were helped at the scene by Hogansburg and Louisville volunteers. Other elements of the Louisville Fire Department were on standby. Massena reported back in service at 11:57 a.m.
The house, owned by David Seguin, was insured, according to the release.
Several tenants lived in the house but all apparently escaped unharmed.
