MASSENA -- The town Highway Department’s salt barn was severely damaged over the winter, and the highway superintendent says he will seek proposals to repair it.
“The salt barn roof took a beating this winter,” Highway Superintendent Frank Diagostino told the Town Council on Wednesday.
He said it needs a new roof, but wants it to be metal this time.
He said that will carry a $5,000 to $6,000 price tag.
