MASSENA -- Nature Up North recently offered an ecology field day at Robert Moses State Park for Jefferson Elementary fifth grade classes.
More than 50 students had the opportunity to learn about aquatic macroinvertebrates, participate in a fishing demonstration and take a guided nature walk along the river. These hands-on activities complimented what students had been learning in the classroom about the St. Lawrence River.
