MASSENA -- Students from Massena elementary schools are offering “Touch a Hand, Touch a Heart” paper hands at local businesses for a small donation.
All monies collected are used to purchase gifts for the children enrolled in the Massena Neighborhood Center’s Christmas program.
Fund raising committee member and “Hand” program coordinator Kathy Perry said the program is very popular with the students as well as the participating businesses.
The hands and/or collection jars are located at Jreck Subs, Via Main Restaurant, Guy’s Diner, Massena Mountain Mart, Laneuville's Redemption Center, Trombino's Restaurant, Hairitage House, On-a-Roll Deli and Meats, and Nana’s Kitchen.
Donations are appreciated and gratefully accepted, and may be mailed to the Massena Neighborhood Center, 61 Beach Street, Suite 103, Massena, NY 13662.
