MASSENA -- The Disabled American Veterans recently installed a new commander.
Commander Fred Cockayne has been a member since 2012 and has served as chaplain, service officer and membership chairman, the club said.
The club gave him their Bronze Star in 2013 and 2014, in recognition of his recruitment efforts.
Their outgoing commander is Ed Gebeault.
