MASSENA – A four-year Massena High School Varsity Cheerleader recently closed her high school cheering career and will be continuing with the Finback Sharks of Ottawa, a Level 6 Worlds Allstar Team
Alex Brown, an 18-year-old senior at Massena High, has been sideline and competitive cheerleader for all four high school years, helping to captured two Section X team titles.
In August 2017, Brown was contacted by a coach at Cheersport Sharks in Ottawa.
She went to one of the practices and started working with their level 2 team, then was moved to level 3. Eventually she was asked to join a Level 6 Worlds Allstar Team, Finback Sharks, which was the highest level team at the gym.
After graduation, Brown plans to join the Finback Sharks team in June.
