MASSENA -- The Greater Massena Chamber of Commerce is seeking volunteers for the 34th annual Heritage Festival.
The festival will be held Saturday, June 1 at the Massena Arena.
“Each year the Massena chamber hosts a variety of community events - Winter Carnival, Easter Egg Hunt, Heritage Festival, Block Dance/Car Show, Summer Concert Series, Harvest Festival and much more” said Michael Gleason, executive director.
“It takes a lot of work to not only organize but to also run these events,” he said.
“The Heritage Festival is a major fundraiser for the chamber and monies raised from this is one way we are able to offer many of our other community events,” said Susan Stiles, Massena chamber president.
Volunteer activities will include working the admission doors, food booth, set up, clean up, taking surveys and selling 50-50 tickets.
Anyone wishing to volunteer should contact the chamber office at 769-3525 or chamber@massenachamber.com or stop in at 16 Church St.
