MASSENA – The Greater Massena Chamber of Commerce and Winter Carnival Committee have announced that new activities have been added to this year’s Massena Winter Carnival Jan. 28 through Feb. 5, including children’s activities both weekends.
They also noted the Christmas lighting throughout downtown and Andrews Street Park will remain up and lit through the carnival, and they encourage village residents to keep their holiday lighting displays going until then, too.
Events include dog sled races, learning to snowshoe, a chicken barbecue, a hockey tournament, a 5K walk/run, snow kickball, fireworks and a pancake breakfast.
