MASSENA -- The Massena Central High School Women’s Chorus recently prepared for NYSSMA Majors (adjudication) and sang a song called “Hotaru Koi” in Japanese.
To work on the language more specifically and accurately the chorus Skype-called Chikara Imashioya in Osaka, Japan who taught the singers and teacher Chris Lincoln how to speak the Japanese words.
Imashioya is a Japanese native who lives in Osaka, Japan and is a friend of Lincoln, who is the director of the MCHS Women’s Chorus.
