MASSENA -- The Board of Education gave the district bus garage the go-ahead to loan a 60-passenger bus to Holy Name of Jesus Academy on December 8 for a school trip to a concert at the Crane School of Music.
The board denied their request for three buses on October 7 for a trip to Waddington.
Interim Superintendent William Crist said the December trip fit into the bus garage’s schedules, but the October venture didn’t.
Holy Name of Jesus Academy said in a letter to the board that they will pay all associated expenses.
