MASSENA -- The town will spend $1,600 on a new forced-air furnace for a building at the town airport that houses its maintenance facility.
Highway Superintendent Frank Diagostino said the current boiler furnace is broken. The new equipment will be a savings because they won’t have to pay $2,600 annually for boiler water monitoring.
The board voted 3-0 to approve the purchase. Town Supervisor Joe Gray and Councilman Samuel Carbone were not at the meeting.
