MASSENA -- A 54-year-old Massena man is being held in jail on allegations that he sexually abused two young girls earlier this month.
Gary P. Rousaw of 88 Woodlawn Avenue, Massena is facing two counts each of aggravated second-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
Court documents show that he admitted the abuse to police during an interview with Investigator Jordan Jenks. Rousaw said the abuse occurred while he and his wife babysat the children.
He was arraigned in Massena Village Court before Justice Gerald Sharlow and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond. Rousaw could face five to 15 years in state prison if convicted.
