MASSENA -- Amvets Post 4 Riverfront has hosted the Bowfishing Championship for the last four years. and happy to distribute some of the funds they have raised.
This was one of five donations from the tournament this year, the largest being a $550 gift to Camp Ta-kum-ta in Vermont.
The camp is for cancer kids and was made in memory of one of our young contestants named Ian Yando who sadly passed away before this year's event.
The bowfishing championship is held each year on the second weekend in June and all proceeds are given in prizes and donations such as these.
