Updated 7:25 a.m.
Roughly 700 people were still without power around 6 a.m. today after severe thunderstorms and high winds left thousands in the dark in St. Lawrence County Tuesday evening.
For some, power has returned, but about 414 customers near Colton are not expected to have power returned until 5 p.m., according to National Grid's outage map.
In Canton, Pierrepont and Parishville, where nearly 200 are without electricity, crews are still "assessing the condition," according to National Grid.
