POTSDAM – Potsdam police say two North Country men have been charged following an alleged assault that resulted in the victim being transported to Burlington for reconstructive surgery due to his injuries.
Dakota J. Vallance, 18, Winthrop, and Bryan A. Bicknell, 20, Potsdam, were each charged Thursday with second-degree assault with intent to cause serious physical injury, according to patrols.
The incident occurred in the early morning hours of Aug. 24 on Maple Street, police said.
They were both arraigned in Potsdam Village Court and released under the supervision of the probation department.
