MASSENA — A Massena man was jailed following a reckless driving incident on State Highway 420 Sunday night involving a motorcycle, according to state police.
Police say Domanique P. Deragon, 37, was observed driving 111 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone and he attempted to evade troopers by pulling into his own driveway and parking his motorcycle behind his garage.
Deragon was reportedly located hiding inside the garage.
He was taken into custody following a brief struggle with troopers, officers said.
Further investigation revealed that Deragon was previously observed driving north on SH 420 in Norfolk and Massena at speeds over 100 mph in a 55 mph zone, police said.
Deragon was charged with two counts of reckless driving, two counts of speeding, resisting arrest and refusal to take a breath test at 10:54 p.m., officers said.
He was ordered held on $1,000 bail, police said.
