Man jailed for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest following incident at Clarkson's Cheel Arena

POTSDAM -- A New Hampshire man was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration following an incident at Clarkson University's Cheel Arena Friday night.

Edward H. Berke, 20, was arrested at 7:45 p.m. after police responded to the arena after receiving a report he was being disorderly. He resisted when patrols attempted to place him under arrest, police said.

He was arraigned before village Justice Margaret Garner and sent to St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bail bond, police said.
