FOWLER – A Carthage man was jailed on $2,500 cash after he allegedly rolled his vehicler while in possession of hypodermic needle and drugs, St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies said.
Alex M. Widrick, 22, 10404, Second Road, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, nine misdemeanor counts of possessing a hypodermic instrument and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Deputies said the drugs were revealed when the responded to a one-vehicle rollover on State Highway 58, Tuesday.
Widrick was taken to St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility on $2,500 cash or $10,000 bond.
Deputies were assisted by Gouverneur Police, Gouverneur-based state police, and Gouverneur firefighters.
