HAMMOND — A Fort Drum man was arrested Wednesday on nearly 20 charges following a reckless driving complaint in Hammond on Sept. 24, according to state police.
Douglas J. Burke, 25, was charged with third-degree fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle, reckless driving, speed in zone, imprudent speed, speed: Exceed 55 miles per hour, two counts of following too close and unsafe turn/fail to signal, officers said.
He was also cited for crossing hazardous road markings, failure to use a designated lane, moving from a lane unsafely, unsafe passing on left, left pavement to pass on right, passing vehicle on right, failure to keep right, failure to obey a police officer and an equipment violation for windshield tint, troopers said.
He was issued appearance tickets and released.
