CANTON -- A Liverpool man was found guilty today in St. Lawrence County Court for sexually abusing a girl in September of last year, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
Ralph Planty, 46, was convicted on one count of first-degree criminal sexual act and two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, all felonies.
DA Mary Rain said in a prepared statement that he sexually abused a 12-year-old girl on Sept. 16, 2014 in Potsdam.
He could face up to 39 years in prison, Rain said.
