LISBON -- A Potsdam man was jailed after he allegedly stalked his ex-girlfriend by sending her text messages of a "harassing nature," St. Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies said.
Charles J. Roemer, 29, of 131 Maple St., Apt. 2, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and fourth-degree stalking after he allegedly sent text messages to his ex-girlfriend who had an order of protection against him.
Deputies say said the texts were of a "harassing nature" and a violation of a family court order.
Roemer was arraigned and sent to St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility to await further proceedings.
