MACOMB — An Antwerp resident was charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident driving while intoxicated on Hutton Road in Hammond Sunday morning, according to state police.
Nicholas D. Simmons, 22, was charged with first-offense DWI, refusal to take a breath test and operator leave the scene of a property-damage accident.
He was also cited for unlawful possession of marijuana, speeding and failure to keep right on a two-lane road, officers said.
His arrest status was not made available.
