POTSDAM — Potsdam police said they charged a man with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop for allegedly driving at more than twice the legal speed limit on Sunday morning.
Steven C. Holbrook, 22, Birdsboro, Penn., was charged with first-offense DWI and speed in zone at 2:45 a.m., officers said.
He was allegedly driving 64 miles per hour in a 30 mph zone.
His blood-alcohol content (BAC) was .16, percent, police said.
The arrest took place in the Clarkson University Town House parking lot.
He was cited and released.
