GOUVERNEUR – A Gouverneur man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after leaving the scene of a property-damage accident at the intersection on East Main and Grove streets, according to Gouverneur police.
Ryan M. Kulp, 33, Gouverneur, was charged Wednesday, June 15, at 8:24 p.m. with aggravated DWI, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
He was also charged with failure to yield the right of way on a left turn and failure to notify the DMV of a change of address.
The arrest stems from an investigation of a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident at the intersection of East Main and Grove Street.
His blood-alcohol content was .28 percent, officers said.
He was released to a third party after being issued traffic summonses returnable to Gouverneur court.
