POTSDAM — A Florida man was arrested after police discovered a loaded pistol during a traffic stop on Lawrence Avenue on Sunday morning, according to Potsdam police.
Alberto L. Boza, 41, Homestead, Fla., was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and disobeying a traffic control device at 10:39 a.m., police said.
Police made a traffic stop on the vehicle Boza was driving. Officers then discovered that Boza was in possession of a loaded pistol and he does not hold a New York State pistol permit, police said.
Boza was arraigned by Judge James Mason and released on his own recognizance, officers said.
