POTSDAM -- A man was charged for driving on a suspended license Sunday afternoon after reportedly passing a St. Lawrence County sheriff deputy in a no passing zone on U.S. Highway 11.
Deputies say Nicolas Laurin, 27, Toronto, Ontario, passed a marked patrol vehicle around 1:50 p.m.
Following a traffic stop deputies charged him with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unsafe pass, officers said.
He was arraigned in Canton court and remanded to St. Lawrence County jail on $200 bail or $400 bond, deputies said.
