CANTON -- State troopers say they charged a Yorktown Heights man on Friday with abandoning a disabled dog in Canton earlier in March.
Noah R. Migliore, 19, of Yorktown Heights is charged with one count of abandoning a disabled animal, according to troopers.
Migliore was charged at 1:45 p.m. Friday at 1721 Hanover St. in his hometown, police said.
The charge stems from a dog complaint filed with state police on March 16 at 7 p.m. in Canton, officers said.
Migliore was arraigned in court and released on his own recognizance to re-appear on a later date, police said.
