ROSSIE — An Antwerp man was charged Friday morning after punching a family member in the face and breaking a cell phone and vehicle window during a dispute, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Martin Countryman, 49, was charged with third-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree criminal mischief at 48 Barker Rd., deputies said.
Countryman allegedly punched the victim in the face, causing minor injuries.
He also broke a cell phone and window of a vehicle that belonged to the victim, officers said.
Countryman was arraigned in Gouverneur court and released under the supervision of probation, deputies said.
He is to face the charges in Rossie court at a later date.
