HERMON -- St. Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies were called to break up a fight between brothers Friday.
They say they discovered that the man charged was wanted in Connecticut, on another assault charge.
Deputies say Quandell L. Swanson, 31, of Mount Vernon, was visiting family at 105 Catherine Street when he allegedly assaulted his brother, splitting his lip.
Swanson was arraigned in Town of Canton Court on a charge of third-degree assault and was ordered held on $1,000 bail.
The court issued an order of protection for the brother.
