MADRID -- “Team Iceholes” recently participated a “Polar Plunge” where they raised $3,520 for Special Olympics.
The team included employees of the Ole Smokehouse in Madrid.
“This year we took a different approach and "flocked" 40 different families with a dozen pink flamingos as a way to raise money,” a press release said. “Once flocked we asked for a donation in order to get them off their yard and in return the family got to pick where the flamingos flocked next.”
