MADRID — Madrid resident Kaitlin Tyndall will formally announce her candidacy for the District 8 St. Lawrence County legislator seat tonight at 6:15 p.m. at the Hepburn Library of Madrid, 11 Church St.
Tyndall is running as a Democrat.
The District 8 seat is currently held by Kevin Acres, R-Madrid. Acres has served as a legislator since 2011.
Tyndall is expected to send a press release to media following the event.
