MADRID -- More than 50 students in Madrid-Waddington’s Class of 2016 earned diplomas Friday.

Elizabeth Froats has a 96.69 average. She is the daughter of Jason Froats and Katie Logan. She plans on attending SUNY Canton in the fall, majoring in nursing and Cheryl Squires graduates with a 95.22 average. She is the daughter of Michael and Jane Squires. She plans on attending St. Lawrence University and will major in business and statistics.

Twelve other students are also graduating with honors with averages above 90 percent.
