CANTON — A Madrid man was charged with felony driving while intoxicated on River Road on Sunday, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Charles S. Olmstead, 32, was charged with felony DWI: Previous conviction within last 10 years, felony aggravated DWI: BAC higher than .18 percent, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speed in zone, deputies said.
His blood-alcohol content (BAC) was .22, officers said.
He was released on appearance tickets returnable in court at a later date.
