MADRID -- The Town of Madrid water district will be flushing the hydrant system Thursday, April 23, at 10 p.m.
The purpose is to ensure the water districts fire hydrants are in good working order and to clean the water mains.
If residents experience any discoloration of water, they are advised let the cold water faucet run until it clears. If it does not clear, call the town offices at 322-5606 and follow the directions or call the town clerk at 322-5760.
