LOUISVILLE – A Louisville man was jailed Tuesday for allegedly raping a 16 year-old female and provider her with heroin and other narcotic drugs on multiple occasions, according to state police.
Zachary D.J. McGregor, 25, was charged with third-degree rape, third-degree criminal sexual act, two-counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance to a child, felonies, trooper said.
He was additionally charged with endangering the welfare of a child, misdemeanor, police said.
The arrest stems from a series of incidents that occurred at McGregor’s residence and other privately owned homes near McGregor’s, police said.
Troopers said McGregor provided heroin and other drugs on multiple occasions, during the months of October and November 2013 to the victim who was an acquaintance of his. The investigation further revealed that McGregor also engaged in sexual acts with the victim on multiple occasions during the same time frame, police said.
He was arraigned in the Town of Louisville Court before Town Justice Michael LeCuyer and sent to the St. Lawrence County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond, trooper said.
Police said McGregor is scheduled to appear in Louisville Town Court on Nov. 13, at 5:30 p.m.
