Local town courts level fines for DEC charges in St. Lawrence County

The following individuals were recently fined for Environmental Conservation charges leveled against them by state DEC officers in St. Lawrence County, said the DEC in a press release Thursday.

• Andrew F. Cousino, 32, of Ogdensburg was fined $75 on July 13 before Hammond Town Justice Lisa A. Proven for a trespassing offence which occurred on Dec. 3, 2016.

• Donald P. Perry Jr., 60, of Brasher Falls was fined $100 by Stockholm Town Justice Wayne G. Williams July 3 on an unlawful open burn charge leveled against Perry on May 16.

• Ryan J. Loomis, 23, of Watertown, was charged with possessing a doe deer without a permit and possessing an untagged deer on Dec. 3, 2016 in Hammond. He was fined by Town Justice Lisa A. Proven on Jan. 12 for $550.

• Dustin O. Makuch, 30, of Evans Mills was fined $50 by Fine Town Justice Julie LaTray on June 26 for the charge of No Wearable PFD. Makuch was originally charged on May 6.

• Dallas D. Bisnett, 19, of Watertown was fined $50 by Fine Town Justice Julie LaTray on June 26 for the charge of No Wearable PFD. Bisnett was originally charged on May 6.

• Jonathan R. Pickett, 36, of Theresa, was fined $50 by Fine Town Justice Julie LaTray on May 26 for the charge of No Wearable PFD. Pickett was originally charged on May 6.

• Tyler O. Makuch, 32, of Evans Mills was fined $50 by Fine Town Justice Julie LaTray on May 26 for the charge of No Wearable PFD. Makuch was originally charged on May 6.

• Scott Z. LaQuay, 25, of Evans Mills was fined $50 by Fine Town Justice Julie LaTray on May 23 for the charge of No Wearable PFD. LaQuay was originally charged on May 6.

• Thomas M. Rogers, 68, of Hannawa Falls, was fined by Pierrepont Town Justice Robert G. Camp for $100 in connection with an unlawful open burning charge leveled against Rogers on June 13.
