RUSSELL -- Local author Barry Strate recently donated a copy of the first of his two books, “Finding Freedom”, to the Russell Library, 24 Pestle St.
Strate, who is a long-time Canton resident, grew up in Russell and is a graduate of Knox Memorial Central School.
“It is a very satisfying feeling knowing one of my books is residing in my hometown library.” Strate said.
He has also authored, “The Emancipation of Brandy”, the second book in the series.
Currently, he is at work on the final installment, “A Cause for a Hero”, due out in this fall.
