Local artists' works selected for St. Lawrence County Arts 12-month calendar

POTSDAM -- SLC Arts has selected works of thirteen regional artists for publication in the 2018 Fine Art Up North wall calendar. More than 50 image submissions were considered.

Jurors selected 13 images to be featured in the twelve-month calendar plus cover.

The following artwork will be featured in the 2018 Fine Art Up North calendar:

• "So Small Down Below," photography by Jeanna Matthews

• "Autumn in New York," watercolor by Marilyn Merrill

• "Adirondack Hills," fiber art by Kathy Montan

• "Sacketts' Sunset," oil painting by Pamela Morley

• "Brown Creek Transitional," photography by Dawn Ogrodnik

• "Last Harvest," oil painting by Paul N. Pedersen

• "Lighthouse," photography by Kelly Sweno

Pre-ordering of the 2018 Fine Art Up North calendar is available through the SLC Arts website at slcartscouncil.org/2018-calendar; proceeds support SLC Arts. Artists who are interested in being featured in the 2019 calendar should watch for the submission deadline in May of 2018 at "Artist Opportunities" at www.slcartscouncil.org.
