WADDINGTON -- When fishing begins today at 7 a.m. in the 10th St. Lawrence International Junior Carp Tournament, anyone can follow the action online.
The official tournament leaderboard, sponsored by Slic Network Solutions for the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, will feature real-time entries of who caught what, where, and how much it weighed.

Anyone who wants to see the catch-and-release carp fishing live can visit various locations along the St. Lawrence River: Customs House and Lighthouse Point in Ogdensburg; 144 River Road, Whittaker Park, and Little Sucker Brook in Waddington; Coles Creek State Park; Route 131 near Alcoa and Hawkins Point in Massena.
Fishing takes place from 7 a.m. to noon and 1 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 7 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
At Madrid-Waddington Central School Saturday, a pizza party begins at 6 p.m. followed by closing ceremonies and awards at 7 p.m.
The Acoustic Brothers will also be on hand to play.
The public is welcome to attend.
