Cooler weather today under partly sunny skies over the North Country will give way to clearer conditions with more seasonal temperatures Sunday, the National Weather Service predicts.
The high temperature today is expected to reach only the mid-70s with calm winds picking up to 5 mph from the southwest.
Lows are predicted to be in the 50s tonight, the NWS says. Winds are expected to subside and skies will be partly cloudy.
Highs return to more normal temperatures Sunday, into the 80s, under sunny skies, with light winds from the west.
Sunday night, skies will become partly cloudy. Lows will only recede to the-60s, and winds will remain light to moderate, forecasters say.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected Monday and Monday night.
