The North Country Chapter of the American Red Cross will honor two St. Lawrence County residents at its “Real Heroes Breakfast” Oct. 7.
Accepting awards will be Helen Jemison of Lisbon and Tyler Campbell of Waddington.
Jemison will receive the Blood Donor Award and Campbell will receive the Good Neighbor Award.
At the breakfast, the Red Cross will present a total of twelve awards to local citizens whose extraordinary acts of service have made them real heroes in our community this year.
“This year’s Real Heroes are truly inspiring in many different ways,” said Jane Gendron, executive director for the North Country Chapter of the American Red Cross. “We are honored to be able to tell their stories and celebrate their impact in our community through the Real Heroes Breakfast.”
