CANTON -- A Lisbon resident was injured in a two-car crash Thursday, Nov. 1.
Canton Village Police investigated the accident, which occurred at 7:55 a.m.
The accident was on State Street at the intersection with Riverside Drive.
Monica Kelly, 40, Lisbon, was stopped in her vehicle waiting for the traffic signal to turn green when she was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Jason Clark, 20, Norfolk, according to village police.
Kelly complained of pain to her head and neck. She was treated at the scene by the Canton Fire Department Rescue Squad and was transported to Canton-Potsdam Hospital for evaluation and treatment. Clark was not injured, police said.
Clark was ticketed for following too closely.
